BIOGRAPHY
I'm a guitarist and web designer, based in Liverpool, England. I've played professionally for some 20 odd years working in various bands along with teaching at several local universities and colleges.
I studied in Liverpool at Mabel Fletcher college back when there where only a couple of popular music courses anywhere in the country. I studied contemporary and jazz harmony with John Harper and guitar with Les Bolger. These were good times, playing guitar and studying all day every day.
After college I spent 3 years gigging around the north west of England whilst building up my private teaching, along with a memorable year spent in the Caribbean. Around that time I took a post at my former college which was then called Liverpool Community College.
Over the years i've played in various original and covers band, been a product demonstrator for Celestion speakers and Patrick Eggle guitars, a course tutor at "The Arts Centre" as well as teaching guitar at the University of Manchester.
MORE RECENTLY
Over the past 4 years or so my interest in graphic and web design has grown along with a re-kindled interest in music production. Of late I've been approached by several local bands to produce various demo CD's and websites. You can find a selection of this work on the portfolio page. My own material is to be found on the music page.
Currently I'm gigging with several bands and play regularly with the Legends show, the David Windle orchestra and very occasionally for Junior Parker.
The site was produced on a Apple Mac G5 (see pic above) using a combination of Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I also used Style Master for the css. The music was recorded using Cubase, Reason, a TC Electronics Powercore Firewire and Universal Audio UAD1 card.
